Sustainability & Responsibility

TRETAB actively works towards environmental sustainability, good business ethics and social responsibility. Read more about how we work with these issues.

Community Engagement and Sponsorship

The company and our employees are part of the community. By collaborating with the Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund, Trelleborg FF-En kraft i samhället, as well as local associations, we aim to do our part for society.

Our sponsorship strategy consists of a few larger partners complemented by the sponsorship of some local associations that focus on youth.
It is important to us that sponsorship strengthen the TRETAB brand and raise awareness of our services or of TRETAB as an employer. In other words, doing so should be mutually beneficial.

We do not sponsor political or religious organizations.

Would your association/organization like to apply to become a TRETAB sponsor partner? Send us an email (via our online contact form) and we vow to attend to your request as soon as possible. We do not take inquiries by phone.

Environment — Sustainable Shipping

There is no question that climate change necessitates a transformation of the transport sector. TRETAB hopes it can do its part to combat climate change for the benefit of coming generations by employing various environmental improvement measures in our shipping services such as; reducing the number of kilometers driving empty, increasing utilization capacity/fullness levels in our trailers, and reducing fuel consumption by continuously updating our fleet of trucks. Would you like to know more about our environmental improvement efforts? Contact our CEO.

Good Business Ethics

The shipping sector is not infrequently associated with not quite following the rules, a poor working environment and substandard employment conditions.
For TRETAB it is important that the shipping services we provide be fair and just for our suppliers and their employees, and always in accordance with applicable laws, rules and working conditions in each respective country.

This may relate to how we plan driving and rest periods for our drivers, avoiding unauthorized cabotage, not exceeding weight restrictions, preventing and combating drug smuggling, frequent alcohol testing of our drivers, following the EU’s Mobility Package, and much, much more.

We affirm and desire to maintain good, transparent contact with the government and authorities, the city, trade unions, auditors, certification bodies and other stakeholders.
